What are the maximum FHA and VA loan amounts? |
Yes. These limits are set by the federal government for each region of the country. For instance, the FHA has announced that effective January 1,
2006, the maximum loan amount for single family homes in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties in California, where home prices are considerably higher than the rest of the country, will be set at $362,790.
If you are thinking about applying for one of these loans, check with your local or regional FHA or VA office for the loan limits in your area. |
